Kayla Burrell scored a pair of goals for 18th-seeded Villa Walsh in its 3-2 win against 15th-seeded Whippany Park in the first round of the Morris County Tournament in Whippany.

Villa Walsh (6-4-1) led 2-1 at halftime against Whippany Park. Each team scored a goal in the second half as Villa Walsh held on to win.

Lyndsay Sheaffer scored a goal for Villa Walsh. Grace Boler and Josephine Rezza each had one assist.

Sam Battista and Ella Dicostanzo each scored a goal for Whippany Park (4-5).

Villa Walsh will face second-seeded Randolph, No. 10 in the NJ.com Top 20, in the second Rond of the Morris County Tournament on Tuesday.
