Thiruvananthapuram : The ongoing Kerala assembly session has come to a stalemate with opposition MLAs protesting against the LDF government demanding the resignation of Devaswom minister VN Vasavan and TDB chief PS Prashanth.

Opposition leader VD Satheeshan alleged that further discussions on the bills can continue only if the government decides to take action against the Devaswom minister and TDB president.

Speaker A N Shamseer suspended the question-hour session in the Assembly on Tuesday after the opposition raised slogans and displayed banners. “An SIT has been formed to probe the gold-plating row.
