Deondria Simon’s far post finish off Madi Traister’s assist gave Clayton a 2-1 victory over Gloucester Catholic in their battle for first place in the Tri-County Conference Classic Division at Haupt Field in Clayton.

Simon, a senior, broke the 1-1 tie with her 13th, with about 14 minutes left. Traister beat a defender and led Simon in on the net with a pass. Simon touched it home to complete the comeback and leave the Clippers (7-3, 6-1) in line for a piece of the division crown.
