Mangaluru, Oct 7: Under the Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM), the central government has sanctioned a grant of Rs 24.70 crore for the establishment of 38 Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centres (HWC) across Dakshina Kannada (DK) district during the current financial year, informed Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta.

The initiative aims to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in rural areas under the PM-ABHIM scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Each centre will receive a grant of Rs 65 lac, which will be utilized for constructing suitable buildings and providing necessary infrastructure facilities.
