SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - We have issued First Alert Weather Days due to higher-than-normal tides from Tuesday morning through Thursday evening.

This morning, we’re tracking spotty light showers with temperatures starting out near 70 degrees. You might need an umbrella for a few minutes today!

Tides will remain elevated once again, with a high tide of 9.9′ projected for Fort Pulaski around 8:33AM. We will have to watch this timeframe, as water will be near Highway 80 between the Bull River Bridge and Tybee Island between 8-9AM. Thankfully today won’t be as breezy, but it will be a warm day with highs reaching the mid 80s during the afternoon along with a chance for spotty showers during the day.
