In a significant political move ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati is set to publicly launch her nephew, Akash Anand, at a massive rally in Lucknow on October 9th — the death anniversary of party founder Kanshi Ram.

This is the first time Anand will share the main stage with Mayawati to address the party’s core cadre, marking his formal introduction as the party’s future face.
