LebTown found stark differences in the way county-issued credit cards are used by personnel in two county departments, the district attorney’s and sheriff’s offices.

LebTown filed a right-to-know request for credit card records for the district attorney’s and sheriff’s offices from Jan. 1, 2022, through Nov. 30, 2024. The RTK request was made since personnel within those two departments have occasions that necessitate out-of-county travel to conduct business on behalf of their departments.
