CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Four weeks into the 2025 season, Rico Dowdle's Panthers stint was looking more like those of Nick Goings, Mike Tolbert, and Miles Sanders -- respectable running backs who spent most of their time in Carolina behind franchise greats. But after Week 5's monster game against the Dolphins, Dowdle showed has has a lot to contribute.
Dowdle had a career-high 206 yards rushing on 23 carries in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Miami Dolphins . The mark is tied for the second-most rushing yards by a Panthers running back in a single game.
