Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly hacked his elder brother and sister-in-law to death over a land dispute at Chirebeda village under Bisra police limits in Sundargarh district on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as N. M. Munda (57) and his wife Shobha Munda (50).

According to the police, the accused Namjang Munda (35) attacked the couple with a sharp weapon while they were asleep, following a long-standing feud over ancestral land.

“During the investigation, it was found that the accused used a sharp weapon to kill his brother and sister-in-law. The weapon has been seized and the accused arrested.
