The filming of the popular television show ‘Bigg Boss Kannada’ at Jolly Wood Studios & Adventures in Bidadi Hobli, near Bengaluru, has come to an abrupt stop after the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) issued a closure notice. The board acted after finding several violations of environmental regulations at the production site.

Hosted by Kichcha Sudeep, ‘Bigg Boss Kannada’, now in its twelfth season and widely watched across Karnataka, must pause operations until it meets environmental requirements. The decision follows a site inspection that raised concerns about waste disposal and sewage treatment at the studio.
