A man sustained serious injuries after being stabbed in the neck and chest during a violent clash between two groups at Seethamgoli in Kasaragod late on Saturday night.
According to Kumbla police, the victim, identified as Anil Kumar (36), a resident of Badiadka, was attacked around 11 pm by a gang of 14 men. Kumar was rushed to the hospital with the knife still lodged in his neck, police said.
The assailants had reportedly called him to Seethamgoli under the pretext of settling a financial dispute, but assaulted him as soon as he arrived at the spot.
