A Georgia woman was allegedly found "covered in blood" at a Dollar General after stabbing a father to death inside a home down the road, authorities say.

"She was just standing there," Detective Brandon Fincher, of the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office, told the Dalton Daily Citizen .

Requiya Reynolds, 33, is accused of killing Michael Cronan, 59, at a Whitfield County residence less than a mile away from the Dollar General on Beaverdale Road in Dalton where she was found Wednesday night, according to local officials.

The Whitfield County Sheriff's Office and Georgia Bureau of Investigation both probed the incident after a 911 call came in at around 11 p.m. about Reynolds showing up to the discount store after the alleged stabbing. Officials say she told first responders at the scene th
