Candidates for the two Battle Ground Public Schools board positions contested in the Nov. 4 election are focusing their campaigns on fiscal responsibility and parental rights.

Lorri Sibley, a 60-year-old retired teacher, and Jennifer Heine-Withee, a 57-year-old school volunteer and parent advocate, are running for the position to be vacated by Mary Snitily. Christopher Grewell, a 37-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran, and Sabrena Worthy, a 55-year-old former social worker, are vying for the position to be vacated by Ted Champine. Both Snitily and Champine have served on the board since 2021.
