Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday wished Russian President Vladimir Putin on his 73rd birthday over the phone, and both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen the special and privileged strategic partnership between the two countries.
In an official statement, PM Modi said he reviewed the bilateral ties and that he looked forward to welcoming Putin to India for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit, scheduled to be held in December.
