SALT LAKE CITY — Kroger has issued a recall for two of its deli products due to a potential listeria monocytogenes contamination.

In a press release on Saturday, Kroger announced recalls for its basil pesto bowtie salad and smoked mozzarella penne salad.

The recall impacts 1,860 stores across several states, including but not limited to Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho and Nevada. The affected stores include Kroger, Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, King Soopers, Payless, Ralphs and Smith’s.

Consumers should check their refrigerators for basil pesto bowtie salad sold between Sept. 6 and Oct. 2, and smoked mozzarella penne salad sold between Aug. 29 and Oct. 2.
