Srinagar, Oct 07: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Tuesday urged faith in India’s highest court and appealed for restoration of statehood and redressal of local grievances, while criticising what he called attempts to derail dialogue for political gain.
Speaking to reporters, Deputy chief minister Choudhary as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said, “History of Jammu and Kashmir shows we are not people who give up. We have faced great distances and trials and we do not panic. We place our faith in the law of India and in the highest court of the land the Supreme Court because it is the one institution that the entire country trusts, beyond religion and community.”
