YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, better known as BeerBiceps, has opened up about the emotional chaos he went through during the India’s Got Latent controversy earlier this year. The creator said that just 10 days before the storm broke out, he had gone through a painful break-up — something that made an already tough time even harder to bear.

Speaking to actor Raghav Juyal, Ranveer said that his life changed completely after the incident. “My entire life changed. As an artist, I changed. My art became more raw. I’ve lost too much; I lost money, mental health. Just 10 days before the incident, I had a terrible break-up. I was already handling all that, then this happened. I was everywhere on YouTube, on TV…" he said.
