Hyderabad: Three years after the Osmania University College for Women, Koti, was upgraded into Telangana’s first women’s university, the State government is yet to sanction a single new faculty post.

Currently, only 20 regular faculty members are on the rolls of Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University, while over 100 contract teachers are extending their services. Even these regular faculty members have been given an option to choose between the present university and Osmania University, as the Koti Women’s College was earlier
