The Magee Police Department arrested Steven Terrell Booth after a crash on Highway 49 North, officials said.

Booth was transported to the Magee Police Department and booked on the following charges: DUI 3rd Offense (felony), possession of paraphernalia, no driver’s license, and no insurance.

Under Mississippi law, a third-offense DUI is a felony punishable by a fine between $2,000 and $5,000 and one to five years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Chief Denis J. Borges reminded the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
