DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - Daviess County Sheriff’s Office officials say they arrested a man Monday for his involvement in fentanyl trafficking.
According to a police report, they began their investigation on Wednesday, October 1 when detectives were following up on tips received from the community.
They executed a search warrant on the suspect’s car that was parked in the 1100 block of Walnut Street.
Deputies say the suspect had been identified as Jamal Huggins.
During the search of the vehicle, detectives say they found 75 fentanyl pills and $1,300 in cash.
Huggins was located at a home in the 300 block of Rudy Road and taken into custody.
He was later booked into the Daviess County Detention Center.
