SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — When voters in Summit County head to the polls for the Ohio 2025 general election on Tuesday, Nov. 4 , they’re going to find Issue 1 on their local ballot.
What is Issue 1?
It’s a proposed tax levy -- a 2.95-mill renewal and 0.5-mill increase -- for the Summit County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADM) Board.
Sample ballot language says this levy is “for the purpose of mental health and recovery programs for children, adults, and families for the County service district, and for the acquisition, construction, renovation, financing, maintenance and operation of the County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services (ADM) Board facilities.”
