The boy from Monroe has returned to Seattle a rock star.

On Sunday night, Benson Boone was still clutching to his local-boy-makes-good persona, even while performing at a sold-out Climate Pledge Arena. But it was hard to square that image with his tens of thousands of fans and high-flying theatrics in Seattle, as Boone soared in a giant chandelier and backflipped between pyrotechnics.

Thematically, his 2025 sophomore album American Heart” suggests he was thrust into fame, but Boone is still one of us. That character debuted in the “Mr Electric Blue” video, ahead of the American Heart World Tour, which kicked off in Minnesota in August.
