LeBron James started playing basketball in the fifth grade. He went on to play throughout high school (where he also played football) and began his professional career with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. In 2010, he joined the Miami Heat and played with the team until 2014, when he returned to the Cavaliers. In July 2018, it was announced that LeBron would be joining the Los Angeles Lakers, and he started his first season with the team a few months later.

In October 2025, Lebron teased a “second decision” was coming 15 years after he made his first massive choice to leave Cleveland for Miami.
