A cold front moved through North Texas on Tuesday afternoon, bringing isolated shower activity to parts of North Texas.

Most folks didn't pick up anything, so consider yourself one of the lucky ones if you did get a quick rain shower.

That cold front is bringing very little reprieve from the October heat. Temperatures still remain above average, but we will dip back into the 80s the next couple of days.

On Wednesday, expect lows in the upper 60s, with highs in the mid to upper 80s for most of the region.

Due to ridging in the upper levels of the atmosphere, right over the center of the country, our dry and warm pattern continues.

Highs look to warm back close to 90 by the late weekend, with abundant sunshine.
