The Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) to promote this year’s Fire Prevention Week™ (FPW™) campaign.
Fire Prevention Week is October 5-11 and the 2025 campaign theme is “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.”
Lithium-Ion batteries are commonly used household items. They are in most electronics including toys and electric vehicles. If they are not disposed or used correctly, the batteries could cause a fire, explosion or overheat.
