Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya on Sunday attended the swearing-in ceremony of the CEM and Deputy CEM of the 5th Executive Council of of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) held at Kokrajhar. Chief Secretary Dr. Ravi Kota administered the oath of office and secrecy to Hagrama Mohilary as CEM and Rihon Daimary as the Deputy CEM of the BTC. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Acharya described the day as a “moment of happiness” for the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). He expressed confidence that the newly formed Executive Council will uphold democratic values and work with dedication toward the holistic development and welfare of the BTR.
