Until recently, it seemed reasonably likely that Taylor Swift would be making her Super Bowl halftime-show debut next year. Now we know she actually isn’t , and in an interview Monday night with Jimmy Fallon, she explained why. In the interview, she said her team has gotten calls from Jay-Z’s team — which helps select the halftime-show performers — feeling out her interest in the opportunity. “Jay-Z has always been very good to me — our teams are really close. They sometimes will call and say, ‘How does she feel about [the Super Bowl]?’” Swift said, describing it not as “an official offer or a conference-room conversation,” but more a casual temperature check about “how does she feel about it in general?”
