Argentine President Javier Milei led an event on Monday in a Buenos Aires stadium, presenting himself as a rock star, during which he launched his book "The Construction of the Miracle," just a few weeks before the crucial mid-term legislative elections.

Throughout the day, and as he reflected on his social media, Milei dedicated himself to rehearsing songs for the nighttime presentation which, convened for the launch of his new book, marks a milestone in the campaign ahead of the upcoming elections, at a time of extreme governmental weakness due to economic instability and scandals that corner some of his key figures.

When neither the strong support obtained from the President of the United States nor the signs of backing from the International Monetary Fund and the US Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, seemed to quell the situation, a scandal once again shook the government when the main pro-government candidate for the upcoming elections, José Luis Espert, was linked to drug trafficking, which resulted in his stepping aside, announced on Sunday.

Between songs performed by Javier Milei during this event on Monday, there were chants—encouraged by the president himself—against the detained former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

In an event that will go down in history for its singularities, President Javier Milei dedicated a segment to renewing his demand for the freedom of the hostages held by Hamas since their attack on Israel exactly two years ago.

Strong images of destruction and explosions accompanied the first song that the far-right president frantically performed, which was titled "Demoliendo hoteles" (Demolishing Hotels), an iconic song by the idol of Argentine national rock, Charly García.
