Madera police officers assisted the California Highway Patrol with traffic control Tuesday during an investigation of a collision involving a vehicle and a school bus near Pecan Avenue and Raymond Thomas Road.
Authorities said the investigation was ongoing, but the roadway was expected to reopen shortly.
No passengers on the school bus were reported injured in the incident.
