Golovkin, longtime middleweight champion, is leading this year's International Boxing Hall of Fame ballot.

Vernon Forrest and Steve Collins are also in the running alongside 'GGG'.

The Kazakhstani has been out of action since he suffered his second loss to Canelo Alvarez in 2022, which means he is now eligible for the Men’s Modern category entrance.
