MADISON, Wis. -- A man was robbed at gunpoint on Madison's east side Sunday evening, police said.
Officers responded to the intersection of Mendota Street and Ridgeway Ave. at around 5:15 p.m. A 20-year-old man reported that he was walking with bags of groceries when a black SUV drove towards him.
A person reportedly jumped out of the SUV, pointed a gun at the man and ordered him to empty his pockets. The man was also forced to take off his shirt and shoes.
The person then jumped back into the SUV and drove away north on Mendota Street towards Lien Road. Two other people were reportedly in the vehicle.
