Picton Main Street's third phase of reconstruction set to begin

Prince Edward County residents will encounter construction conditions on Picton Main Street as part of a third phase of remediating one of the municipality’s busiest streets. Article content

The county has advised that RW Tomlinson Limited will begin work on Phase 3 of the Picton Main Street reconstruction project beginning Monday, October 20. Article content

This phase of the project spans from Spencer Street to 100 metres north of Folkard Lane.

“One lane of traffic will always be open during the reconstruction, with signals in place to control traffic,” the municipality said in a release.

Disruptions will be kept to a minimum for residents in the area.

“Residents in the construction will have access to their properties throughout construction.
