Dr. Jan Kriwinsky of Moreland Hills was sentenced to 30 days in the Cuyahoga County Jail and fined $1,200 during his Sept. 25 appearance in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas in downtown Cleveland.
Kriwinsky, 69, had previously pleaded guilty to sexual imposition – a third degree misdemeanor – and endangering children – a first-degree misdemeanor on Aug. 12.
Krwinisky received jail time credit for one day.
Attorney Larry Zukerman, managing partner at Zukerman, Lear, Murray & Brown, Co., LPA in Cleveland, who served as Kriwinsky’s defense counsel, declined to comment when reached by the Cleveland Jewish News.
Impact statements were made by family members of the victims, while Kriwinsky’s family members and supporters also addressed the court in the hearing.
The defense motioned on
