One person died on Tuesday after they were struck by a vehicle in Edmond, according to police.

The Edmond Police Department says the victim was riding a bicycle near Covell Road and Broadway when they were struck by a vehicle. The cyclist died at the scene.

EPD said the driver involved stayed on scene to cooperate with investigators.

No names have been released at this time.
