Srinagar, Oct 7: To strengthen research capacity and enhance understanding of emerging technologies in the field of physical sciences, the Department of Physics, University of Kashmir (KU), in collaboration with the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, commenced a four-day workshop on ‘Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Physics and Astronomy’ at the main campus.

A statement of KU issued here said that the workshop aims to equip young researchers and students with practical knowledge of data-driven techniques and artificial intelligence tools that are increasingly shaping modern research in physics, astronomy, and related disciplines.
