PG&E announced Tuesday that its Corporation Foundation has raised $147,850 for food banks in the North Valley area alone.
According to a press release from the company, the Community Action Agency of Butte County, which serves not only Butte County but surrounding counties such as Glenn and Plumas, received $64,000.
Additionally, the Chico Area Council for Aging, which oversees Meals on Wheels, got $7,500.
PG&E Vice President of the North Valley and Sierra Region Joe Wilson offered a statement regarding the fundraising.
