Before The Matrix and John Wick made him a global action icon, Keanu Reeves was doing a much humbler kind of work — mowing lawns and trimming trees.
In a new People.com video segment where the cast of Good Fortune interviewed one another, Reeves revealed his pre-Hollywood hustle while chatting with co-star Aziz Ansari. “Before I got paid, I was landscaping,” the 60-year-old actor said with a grin, adding, “Well, I was like a young kid, so I was pushing a lawnmower, I was going through trees and getting handed a chainsaw... But it was fun, I liked it.”
