HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford police say they've recovered a lawn mower that had been stolen from Department of Public Works employees last week.
Public works employees were at Zion Hill Cemetery last Tuesday when the riding lawn mower was stolen, police said.
Nearly a week later, police said the mower was found hidden behind an umbrella and milk crates at Broad and Madison streets.
The officers who spotted it returned the mower back to the public works department.
Police said the suspect is still at large.
