SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Salt Lake City has declared a 30-day emergency order to support residents impacted by flooding in Rose Park over the weekend.

On Oct. 3 and 4, Salt Lake City experienced the second-wettest day in history, and the most rainfall since 1901, causing flooding across Salt Lake County. According to a press release from the Salt Lake City Mayor's Office, more than two dozen houses in Rose Park were impacted by the flooding.
