ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The man charged in St. Louis Officer David Lee’s death has been sentenced to prison in a domestic case.

Ramon Chavez-Rodriguez, 25, of St. Peters was sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree domestic assault.

Chavez-Rodriguez was out on bond when Officer Lee was struck and killed on Interstate 70 near Adelaide Avenue while helping with a previous crash in September of 2024.
