A Kitchener man charged with murder and attempted murder did exactly what he declared he would do, a Crown prosecutor alleged.
“You made a comment about how one day you would take everybody out inside 35 Cayley Court and you would turn the house into a bloodbath,” Thomas Mack told Dylon Moreira at his trial Monday in a Kitchener courtroom.
“I suggest that on Nov. 15, that is what you intentionally did, and you remember every moment of it.”
Moreira, 33, said that’s false.
He has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend, Vanessa Legate, 41, and not guilty to attempting to murder his mother, Diana Moreira, 51, and a girl, 7.
