CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A theme on film over the last few weeks has been Cincinnati Bengals’ players jumping up and down or raising their arms in frustration because Jake Browning couldn’t take advantage of a simple chance for the Bengals to create a big play.
There were Ja’Marr Chase and Mike Gesicki wide open on deep crossers over the middle against Denver. There was Chase Brown not getting the ball on an RPO against Detroit where he could have easily popped a 20-yard gain. There was Tee Higgins trying to figure out how the heck he was supposed to get to the alleged “50-50” ball that Browning had just thrown. There was the defense, running back onto another short field following another Browning interception. Even if Zac Taylor were designing the best offense imaginable (which he isn’t, but
