During a tense Senate hearing Tuesday morning, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse pressed Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi about reports that Jeffrey Epstein had shown associates photographs of Donald Trump with half-naked young women. Whitehouse asked whether the FBI recovered any such photos during its search of Epstein’s properties, and whether Bondi had seen them.

Bondi did not answer the question directly and evaded it by attacking Whitehouse. Bondi accused Whitehouse of hypocrisy and political slander, claiming he had accepted donations from Epstein associate Reid Hoffman and noting that a senator “sitting right next to” him had opposed releasing Epstein’s flight logs.
