MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman has been charged with reckless homicide after prosecutors say she stabbed her cousin to death during an argument about a job.
According to the criminal complaint, Rae’Jianna Hall is accused of stabbing 19-year-old Jaquveon Wright in the neck at their shared home on Monday, Sept. 26. Investigators say Hall threatened Wright with a knife after he did not help her get a job at Taco Bell.
Wright reportedly ran outside, collapsed and died at the scene.
During an interview with police, Hall is reported to have told investigators that the stabbing was self-defense, saying Wright punched her.
According to the complaint, if convicted, Hall faces up to 60 years in prison.
Her next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14.
