Strictly Come Dancing’s Chris Robshaw has admitted that ‘people laughed’ at him over taking part in the programme as he provided a ‘tough’ admission.

The former England rugby captain, 39 and his professional dance partner Nadiya Bychkova, 36, finished third last on the show’s leaderboard after the judges scores were combined after the first two live shows.

Performing Viennese Waltz to Die With A Smile by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, the judges voted unanimously to save Chris and Nadiya over Thomas and Amy, who danced the Salsa to Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal.
