ELDRIDGE, Iowa (KWQC) - No students were hurt after North Scott High School was placed on lockdown, school officials say.

North Scott Superintendent Joe Stutting told KWQC-TV6 that one student was involved.

Students will be released at 3:05 p.m. when the lockdown will also be lifted, Stutting said. Eldridge police are inside the high school.

KWQC has reached out to the Eldridge Police Department for more information.
