ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A DeKalb County police officer was injured in a car crash Tuesday, according to the police department.

The department said the officer was involved in a two-car crash at the intersection of Lawrenceville Highway and Fellowship Road around 1:45 p.m.

Both the officer and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
