A woman in Alsip was killed by an Alsip police officer Monday night after pointing a firearm at officers at Burr Oak Cemetery, police said Tuesday.

The woman initially made a 911 call at about 10 p.m. alleging that she was being chased by an active shooter. The woman then made several more 911 calls in which she alleged she was armed with a firearm, that she had killed a cop and she would kill another police officer, according to the police statement.

After officers found the woman on the west side of the cemetery, located on the east side of the 12400 block of South Cicero Avenue, she fled, scaled a fence and crossed Cicero Avenue, according to a police statement.
