CHANNELVIEW, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after a man and a woman were found dead in the Channelview area on Tuesday afternoon, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Precinct 3 deputies first responded to a disturbance call at about 12:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Manor Street.

Upon arrival, authorities found a man dead with a stab wound outside of someone's home, followed by a blood trail, where a woman was found dead from unknown injuries inside the home, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

The man is said to be in his 20s, while the woman is said to be in her 30s, and they are believed to be related, according to law enforcement.
