Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 8 (ANI): Search operations for missing passengers continue into Wednesday midnight as the death toll in the Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur bus accident rose to 15, officials said.

Passengers are feared trapped under the debris.

At least 15 people were killed on Tuesday evening after a landslide struck a private bus in the Balughat area of the Jhandutta assembly segment, Bilaspur SP Sandeep Kumar Dhawal.

The incident occurred when the private bus, carrying passengers through the hilly stretch, was suddenly struck by falling debris following heavy rains in the region. Local administration, police, and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams rushed to the spot to carry out rescue operations.
